HONOURABLE SRI J USTICE M.S.K . J AISWAL CRIMINAL PETITION No. 13677 of 2016 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.102 of 2015 on the file of Station House Officer, Police Station, Jogipet, Medak District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 366,496 and 506 read with Section 34 IPC.
When the Criminal Petition is taken up for consideration, it is submitted by the learned Public Prosecutor that the police have completed the investigation in the aforesaid crime and filed charge sheet before the jurisdictional Court on 5.7.2016. In view of the above, the Criminal Petition has become infructuous and the Criminal Petition is liable to be dismissed accordingly. The Criminal Petition is therefore dismissed as having become infructuous. However, it is left open to the petitioners to avail appropriate remedies available under law. The Registry is directed to return the original papers to the petitioners. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Criminal Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
