THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE MUMMINENI SUDHEER KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.26687 of 2022 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. The writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission.

It is the case of the petitioner that he is the absolute owner and possessor of agricultural lands admeasuring Acs.2.00 in Survey No.204/RU, Ac.1.00 in Survey No.204/RU and Acs.2.00 in Survey No.526/RRA/70/1 situated at Pothula Boguda Village, Shivampet Mandal, Medak District, and he has been in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the said extents of lands. The name of the petitioner is mutated in the revenue records, the subject lands are also updated in online Dharani Portal and he was also issued old pattadar passbook in respect of the subject lands. The petitioner claims that in spite of updating his name in online Dharani Portal, the respondents are not issuing new pattadar passbook in respect of the subject extents of lands. Therefore, the petitioner submitted applications vide Transaction ID Nos.18T316300000859 and 18T316300000860, dated 21.04.2022, respectively, requesting for issuance of new pattadar

passbook covering the subject lands. The grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of lapse of more than two months, the respondents have not considered the said applications and the same is still pending with the respondents.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submitted that if the applications submitted by the petitioner are in order, the said applications will be considered by the respondents in accordance with law.

Taking into consideration the submissions made on either side, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider the applications vide Transaction ID Nos.18T316300000859 and 18T316300000860, dated 21.04.2022, respectively, submitted by the petitioner through Dharani Portal seeking issuance of new pattadar passbook in respect of the subject lands and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
