THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.20001 of 2019 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in not registering the complaint, dated 12.06.2018, and taking any further action thereon.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Government Pleader on written instructions, dated 16.09.2019, submits that the petitioner lodged a complaint on 12.06.2018 before the 3rd respondent and the same was forwarded to the 5th respondent through proper channel and upon receipt of the complaint, a GD entry was made and enquiry was taken up. He further submits that pursuant to the enquiry, a case in Crime No.516 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 504 and 506 read with IPC was registered on 14.09.2019.

Inasmuch as the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
