Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Services-III for 1st respondent and learned Standing counsel for 2nd respondent.

Petitioner participated in the selections to the post of Principal in various institutions, pursuant to the recruitment Notification No.29 of 2017 dated 02.06.2017. His candidature for further selection process was rejected on the ground that his teaching experience in University College of Education cannot be treated as required teaching experience. The recruitment notification prescribes Educational qualifications and experience. According to column 'B' of the tabulated statement in the Paragraph 4 of the notification, a person must have total teaching experience of not less than eight years including five years as Post Graduate Teacher in High school or Junior lecturer in Junior College and three years administrative experience as headmaster of School or Principal of Junior College.

Thus, it is clear that the notification do not recognize teaching experience in any other manner. The University College of Education is a degree standard college imparting education for awarding of Bachelor of Education Course. Petitioner also does not have administrative experience as required. Therefore, the teaching experience of the petitioner cannot be treated as requisite teaching experience as required by the recruitment notification. I therefore, do not see no error

- 3 - in rejecting the candidature of petitioner for further selection process, warranting interference by this Court. 4.

Writ Petition is accordingly, dismissed.
