ORDER:

This writ petition is filed questioning the inaction of respondent No.2 in considering the application filed by the petitioner for grant of building permission pertaining to Plot No.2 in Sy. No.161, situated at Ameerpet, Hyderabad. At the hearing, Mr. P. Kesava Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, appearing for respondent No.2, submitted that initially the property in respect of which the application was filed by the petitioner for building permission was shown as road in the master plan and that the petitioner

has approached No.1 and got the master plan modified. He has further submitted that the petitioner has applied for a multi-storied commercial complex with stilt + five upper floors and that having regard to the busy nature of the location of the plot, construction of such building is likely to cause traffic problems. He has further submitted that respondent No.2 will take an appropriate decision and communicate the same to the petitioner within three weeks. In the light of the above submissions of the learned Standing Counsel, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to take a decision on the application filed by the petitioner for grant of building permission and communicate the same to him within three weeks from the date of receipt of this order. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P. Nos.49215 of 2014 and 30885 of 2015 shall stand disposed of as infructuous. _______________________ C.V. NAGARJUNA REDDY, J 18-11-2015 bnr
