Sri K. Ravi, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that on account of subsequent developments, cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication and seeks leave of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy against imposing penalty of 25% cut in pension.

Granting such liberty, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
