ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is directed against the order dated 18.08.2016 in O.S.No.206 of 2013 passed by the I Additional District Judge, Ongole.

The petitioners are the plaintiffs in O.S.No.206 of 2013. The said suit was filed for specific performance of agreement of sale dated 24.07.2010. The petitioners sought to mark an unstamped & unregistered document dated 24.04.2011, which was objected by the defendant.

The above said document was written on a white paper and was styled as consent letter. It contained some terms admitting the execution of the agreement and undertaking the registration of the sale deed. The trial Court upheld the objection raised by the defendant on the ground that the unstamped and unregistered document cannot be adduced in evidence. This Court is in agreement with the order of the trial Court dated 18.08.2016 and it does not call for any interference by this Court.

Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. However, the dismissal of the revision does not stand in the

way of the petitioners from taking appropriate proceedings in accordance with law. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
