HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.8181 of 2002 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner.

The petitioner is challenging the selection process for the post of General Manager. A perusal of the record discloses that the petitioner had retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. Since the petitioner has retired from service, this Court is of the considered view that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication at this point of time.

Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed for default as well as on merits also. No order as to costs.
