HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.16060 of 2003 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner is challenging the promotion of the 3rd respondent on the ground that the petitioner is senior to the 3rd respondent. A perusal of the rec ord discloses that both the petitioner as well as 3rd respondent have retired from service. In view of the same, this Court is of the considered view that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
