When this Writ Petition was listed on 04.01.2016, none appeared for the petitioner. Hence it was directed to be listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today also, though the matter is listed under the caption for dismissal, none appeared for the petitioner nor any representation is made on his behalf. In the circumstances, this Court has no alternative except to dismiss the Writ Petition for non prosecution. The Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
