HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.20111 of 2019 ORDER:
The prayer of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is as under: "...to issue any appropriate writ order or direction particularly one in the nature of Writ Of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the Respondent Nos.2 and 3 herein in conducting investigation into Cr No.34/2019 for the offence U/Secs 324 and 498A of I P C and Sections 3 and 4 of D P Act and Sec 3(1)(s) of SC ST POA Act though the said crime is registered on 13.3.2019 as being illegal arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondent Nos.2 and 3 herein to complete the investigation expeditiously and to file charge sheet before concerned court and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home based on the written instructions submitted that the investigation into this case is almost completed and the Police will file a final report before the Court concerned within a period of eight weeks after obtaining permission from the superior authorities.
Recording the above submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent Police to file an appropriate final report within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
