It is represented by Mr. V.Ravichandran, learned counsel for the petitioners, that the petitioners 1 and 2 have already been promoted and hence insofar as they are concerned, the writ petition has become infructuous. Therefore, he prays that the writ petition may be closed with liberty to the third petitioner alone to come up with a fresh litigation. Accordingly, liberty is granted and the writ petition is closed. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
