THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.21331 OF 2009 ORDER:

1. This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of respondents 2 to 4 in proposing to entrust work in panchayats under Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS-AP) sanctioned vide G.O.Ms.No.271 and 272 dated 8.9.2009 and G.O.Ms.No.231, dated 24.7.2009 and G.O.Ms.No.236 dated 31.7.2009, to the 5th respondent as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, to direct respondents 2 to 4 to entrust the execution of works under the above scheme to the respective Grampanchayats to which the petitioners are the Sarpanchs.

2. On 7.10.2009, while admitting the writ petition, this Court issued an interim direction to the respondents to follow what had been specified in the G.Os aforesaid while making entrustment of works to the petitioners until further orders.

3. Today, when this matter has come up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that in view of the interim orders passed by this Court, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.

4. Recording the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
