This Family Court Appeal, under Section 19(1) of the Family Courts Act, 1984 read with Section 47 of Guardians and Wards Act, 1890, is filed by the appellant/mother of the childMayank, aggrieved by the order dated 23.03.2009 passed in F.C.O.P.No.980 of 2006 by the learned Judge, Family Court, Hyderabad, wherein the F.C.O.P. filed under Section 7 and 10 of Guardians and Wards Act, by the respondent No.1 herein/ paternal grandfather of the child-Mayank, was allowed and the respondent No.1 herein was declared as guardian of Mayank and the custody of the minor boy Mayank, aged about 12 years was given to the respondent No.1 herein and it was directed that the custody shall continue till the child attains the age of majority. 3.

As seen from the material placed on record, the present Family Court Appeal is filed on 27.04.2009. As on the date of impugned order dated 23.03.2009, Mr. Mayank, was aged about

12 years. So, as on today, Mr. Mayank, had attained the age of majority. Under these circumstances, the cause in the appeal does not survive for adjudication.

Accordingly, this Family Court Appeal is dismissed as infructuous.

Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, in this appeal, shall stand closed. No costs.
