THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.2732 OF 2009 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to grant notional seniority to the petitioner with effect from 23.10.2003 in the category of Superintendent on par with his juniors though he was promoted on 03.08.2005.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, proceedings were issued on 09.12.2010 modifying the date of promotion of the petitioner with effect from 03.08.2005 to 23.10.2003 and also promoting the petitioner to the post of Assistant Registrar with effect from 17.02.2009 on par with others, who are similarly placed, by counting the services rendered by him from 31.10.1981 in the Department of Applied Geo-Chemistry, University College of Sciences, Osmania University. In view of the said proceedings, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly closed.
