THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR CRIMINAL PETITION No.1205 of 2015 ORDER:

The present application is filed under Section 438 of the Code of the Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.), seeking release in the event of the arrest of the petitioner in connection with Crime No.13 of 2015 of Proddatur I Town Police Station, Kadapa District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 323 of IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST (PoA) Act. Though the present application is filed seeking anticipatory bail, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks direction to the appropriate Court to consider the request of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender. Having regard to the above, this criminal petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to appear before the appropriate Court and file an application for bail, after giving prior notice to the learned Public Prosecutor, in which event, the same shall be dealt with, in accordance with law, on the same day.
