HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.4442 of 2008 ORDER:

The Member of the Founders Family-cum-Archaka of Sri Ramchandraji Temple, Sathamrai, Shamshabad, Ranga Reddy District filed the present writ petition challenging the action of the respondents in attempting to demolish the existing structures of the said temple without following due process of law.

When there was a threat of encroachment of the temple land, the petitioner submitted a representation on 25.12.2007 to the 2nd respondent stating that the temple is having approximately Ac.1.30 guntas in Sy.No.668 of Sathamrai, Shamshabad, Ranga Reddy District and if the existing land is used for the purpose of road widening from Bangalore to Hyderabad National Highway, they have to follow due process of law. It is stated that when the petitioner went to the spot on 28.02.2008, they noticed that markings were put on the temple structures indicating possible demolition of the temple. 3.

This Court, while admitting the writ petition on 29.02.2008, granted interim direction directing the respondents not to demolish the existing structures of Sri Ramchandraji temple, Gokulaguda, Sathamrai village, Shamshabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, in Sy.No.668, without following due process of law. The said order has been in operation till today. No counter-affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondents.

4. In view of the above circumstances, the aforesaid interim order is made final order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.

6. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
