THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.14141 of 2013 ORDER:

In this Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners/accused Nos. 4 to 6 seek to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.43 of 2013 on the file of Women Police Station, Khammam, Khammam District, whereunder they were charged for the offences under Sections 498-A, 307, 313, 384 and 506 IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the Letter Dt. 11.05.2016 submitted by Sub Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Khammam, Khammam District, stating that the matter was compromised before Lok Adalat on 06.12.2014.

Upon that, learned counsel for petitioner made an endorsement on the back side of the petition seeking permission to withdraw the petition as the parties settled out of Court.

It is seen that pending Criminal Petition, stay was granted until further Orders on 27.03.2014.

In view of the above respective submissions, this Criminal Petition, which is filed for quashment of the proceedings in Cr.No.43 of 2013, is dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, in this case, shall stand closed.
