THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 20218 of 2019 O R D E R:

Petitioners state that they were allotted house site pattas to an extent of 100 square yards each in Survey Nos.147, 148 and 149 of Velugumatla Village, Khammam Urban, Khammam District; that they constructed thatched sheds thereon; that they are living in it without basic amenities, particularly electricity and water connections and that they submitted applications, dated 28.12.2018, 19.01.2019 and 28.01.2019, to respondent No.3-Municipal Commissioner, Khammam to provide electricity and water connections. Their grievance is that no action has been taken thereon. Hence, this writ petition.

Learned Government Pleader would point out that the electricity and water connections can be provided after considering the individual applications being made to the respective authorities. In view of the above and as water and electricity are required for surviving of the citizens, the petitioners shall submit individual applications therefor to the respective authorities. As and when such applications are submitted, the respective authorities shall consider the same in terms of the prescribed rules.

Subject to the above, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J Dt:18.09.2019 kdl
