HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO C.C.No.1053 of 2016 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful violation of the order dt.26-04-2016 in W.P.M.P.No.26990 of 2015 in W.P.No.20953 of 2015.

The said Writ Petition was filed questioning the proceedings dt.30-03-2015 of the Mandal Revenue Officer, Satyavedu Mandal, Chittoor District in paying compensation in respect of land assigned to the petitioner on acquisition of the same by the State to the petitioner's late estranged husband treating the petitioner as having died and seeking payment of compensation for the same. 3.

In W.P.M.P.No.26990 of 2015, the petitioner had sought a direction to 1st respondent to dispose of her representation dt.20-05-2015 made to respondent Nos.1 and 2. 4.

On 26-04-2016, this Court directed the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to dispose of her representation dt.20-05-2015 within three weeks.

In the counter affidavit filed in the Contempt Case, a stand is taken by the respondents that copy of the Court order was received on 13-05-2016 and after an enquiry by the Sub Collector, Tirupati and after issuing notice on 27-06-2016, an endorsement dt.15-09-2016 was passed. Since 2nd respondent in the Contempt

MSR,J C.C.No.1053 of 2016 Case has disposed of the petitioner's representation on 15-09-2016, by way of endorsement Roc.G2/1944/2014, and the same has been challenged by way of amendment in W.P.No.20953 of 2015, though there is some delay in disposing of the representation, I am not inclined to initiate proceedings of contempt against the respondents. 6.

Therefore, the Contempt Case is closed. No costs. 7.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
