THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SMT. JUSTI CE ANI S WRI T PETI TI ON No.39617 of 2015 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The petitioner is the applicant in O.A.No.7071 of 2013 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad. By common order dated 28.09.2015, the Tribunal dismissed the said O.A. while allowing the other two O.As. heard along with it.

The prayer of the petitioner in O.A.No.7071 of 2013 was to declare the action of the authorities in continuing the disciplinary proceedings initiated against him, thereby denying him promotion to the post of District Registrar, as illegal.

Sri V. Ravichandran, learned counsel for the petitioner, informed this Court that after the dismissal of the O.A. and during the pendency of this writ petition, the Government of Andhra Pradesh took note of the fact that the Deputy Inspector General, Registration and Stamps, Ongole, exonerated the petitioner of all charges insofar as the disciplinary proceedings instituted against him were concerned and granted him notional promotion to the post of District Registrar. This order was passed by the Government under G.O.Ms.No.66, Revenue (Registration. I) Department, dated 11.02.2016. A copy of the said G.O. is placed on record.

In the light of the aforestated development, Sri V. Ravichandran, learned counsel, concedes that the writ petition does not require adjudication on merits. Recording the said submission and taking note of the development aforestated, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs. ___________________ SANJAY KUMAR, J Date: 13.02.2017 __________________ ANI S, J va
