This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri R. Balraj Goud, Advocate for the Petitioner and the Public Prosecutor (TG) on behalf of the Respondent No. 1 .

THE HON'BLE DT.JUSTICE CHILLAKUR SUMALATHA CRIMINAL PETITION No.5446 OF 2022 ORDER:- 1.

Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 3, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing Respondent No. I -State and the learned counsel appearing for the 2"d respondent. 2.

Seeking to quash the proceedings that are pending against the petitioners who are arrayed as Accused Nos.l to 3 in Crime No. 198 of 2022 of ChilkaJguda Police Station, Hyderabad, the present Criminal Petition is filed. 3.

l,earned counsel for the petitioners/Accused Nos. 1 to 3 as well as the learned counsel for the 2"d respondent submits that the dispute is purely civil in nature and the 2.d respondent gave complaint to police basing on a trivial dispute and thereafter, the matter is settled between the parties ald hence, recording the compromise, the proceedings may be quashed. Learned counsel further , ) submitted that I.A.Nos. 2 & 3 of 2022 were filed to the same effect.

A perusal of the contents of the complaint reveals justification in the said submission.

Learned Assistant public prosecutor did not raise arrv objection to honour the request of the petitioners/Accused Nos. 1 to 3.

Also, in the light of the settlement arrived at, no useful purpose would be served even if the proceedings are permitted to be continued. Therefore, this Court considers desirable to honour the request ofthe parties. 7.

Resultantly, the Criminal petition is allowed. The proceedings that are pending against the petitioners who are arrayed as Accused Nos. 1to 3 in Crime No.L9g of 2022 of Chilkalguda police Station, Hyderabad, are hereby quashed.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, sha-ll stald clo ed.
