Heard.

Since the subject matter of these writ petitions is similar, they are being disposed of by this common order.

All these writ petitions are filed by separate Schools alleging that the respondents are not paying Maintenance Grant to them in terms of G.O.Ms.No.320, dated 16-09-1994. .

The petitioners state that in order to give effect to the said G.O., the A.P.

Private Educational Institutions Maintenance Grant Regulation Act, 1995, was amended by Act 34 of 2007. It is also stated that though the 4th respondent conducted audit and submitted a detailed report to respondents 1 to 3, the respondents have not paid Maintenance Grant to the petitioners. Alleging inaction on the part of the respondents in paying Maintenance Grant for the period from 20102011 to 2012-2013, 2011 to 2014 and 2012 to September, 2014 respectively in terms of G.O.Ms.No.320, dated 16-09-1994, the petitioners filed the present writ petitions. Learned Government Pleader has received instructions from the 4th respondent, which state that the proposal for grant of Maintenance Grant is already submitted to the 2nd respondent as early as on 30-122014 and the orders of the 2nd respondents are awaited.

In the circumstances, as the proposal for release of Maintenance Grant to the petitioners is already under consideration before the 2nd respondent, I deem it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners proposals and pass appropriate orders thereon expeditiously, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No order as to

costs.

The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed.
