Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: " For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not accepting the acknowledgment issued by the 2nd respondent for granting scholarship to the petitioner for the admission into I years E.E.E. in the 4th respondent college, as illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice apart from being violative of fundamental rights guaranteed under the Constitution of India and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly conceded that in the light of the prayer sought in the writ petition, no further cause would survive in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
