This Writ Petition was filed challenging the order dated 06.05.2014, passed by the second respondent, rusticating the petitioner from the first respondent - University, and confirming the same by the third respondent on 29.05.2015.

It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent - University that, against these orders, the petitioner submitted an appeal to the competent authority and, after passing of orders by the competent authority, the petitioner filed W.P.No.22826 of 2014. In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

Recording the statement made by the learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent - University, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to pursue W.P.No.22826 of 2014. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
