HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT Writ Petition No. 12698 of 2002 Order: (Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Mr. Vedula Srinivas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that with the passage of time, this writ petition has rendered infructuous. He submits that liberty may be given to the petitioner to raise similar challenge in the light of the provisions contained in the Legal Metrology Act, 2009, the New Act, if the circumstances so demand.
The writ petition is dismissed as rendered infructuous. It is always open to the petitioner to raise challenge in the light of the provisions of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009, the New Act, if the circumstances so demand.
Consequently, pending miscellaneous applications shall also stand closed. No costs.
