HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.25173 of 2003 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of respondent in issuing letters dated 02-09-2003 and 15-09-2003 by reducing subsistence allowance of the petitioner from 50% to 25% and consequently direct the respondents to enhance the subsistence allowance from 50% to 75% as per regulation 37 of LICI Staff Regulations and pay arrears from May, 2002.

It is represented that subsequently the petitioner was reinstated, thereafter departmental enquiry was ordered and after considering the enquiry report, the petitioner was dismissed from service on 2212-2009 and therefore, the relief claimed in the writ petition has become infructuous.

Considering the submission of both sides, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
