THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 20272 of 2019 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, petitioners' grievance is inaction of the fourth respondent - Tahsildar, Manoharabad (Toopran) Mandal, Medak District, in disposing of their representations dated 22.10.2018 and 05.09.2019 for correction of entries in the revenue records with respect to their lands in Survey Nos.329 and 330 of Kallakal Village, Manoharabad Mandal, Medak District. It is to be noted that there is no provision for making a representation under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, and the Rules made thereunder, particularly, for correction of entries in the revenue records, and in a Writ Petition, a challenge is required to be made with respect to the proceedings, under which, the alleged entries were made, that too, after approaching the appropriate authority seeking correction of such entries.

In those circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners to take appropriate course in accordance with law.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
