This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: " ... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the letter No.Nil/2017 dated 1.5.2017 issued by the 3rd respondent directing the petitioner's to retire by 30.6.2017 on completion of 65 years, as illegal, irregular, arbitrary, violative of principles of natural justice and under the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 and rules framed thereunder and offends Articles 14, 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to continue the petitioner's services as hereditary archaka in Sri Malyadri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy temple, Malakonda village, Valetivaripalem Mandal, Prakasam district."

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that since there is a provision for revision against the impugned letter dated 1.5.2017, he wants to avail the said remedy.

The Writ Petition is accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with a liberty to avail the alternative remedy of revision as sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
