ORDER :

This Court by order dated 6.3.2014 passed an interim order directing the Branch Manager, State Bank of India/respondent herein to pass a reasoned order on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 31.10.2013 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

Alleging that the said order of this Court is not complied with, this contempt case is filed.

Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and Sri B.S. Prasad learned standing counsel appearing for State Bank of India-respondent. Learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent produced the correspondence with reference to the compliance of the orders and crediting of the amount to the account of the petitioner and withdrawal of the same by the petitioner. As seen from the letter dated 15.3.2014 now produced before this Court, in compliance of the orders of this Court, petitioner was informed that he was entitled to differential amount of Rs.10,434/- and the said amount has been credited to his account. Further, as seen from the statement of the account of the petitioner, on 14.3.2014 an amount of Rs.10,434/- was credited and on 18.3.2014 petitioner has withdrawn an amount of Rs.10,500/-. This would clearly disclose that even before contempt was instituted on 26.12.2014, appropriate orders were passed and differential amount has been credited to the account of the petitioner and the same has been withdrawn by the petitioner.

In view of the above, no contempt is made out and accordingly the contempt case is closed. No costs.
