This writ petition is filed with the grievance that the petitioner's objections made on 01.5.2012 against the action of respondent Nos.8 to 10 for conversion of their lands admeasuring Ac.7.00 in Sy. Nos.577/1 and 577/2 of Yandagandi Village, Undi Mandal, West Godavari District, into fish tanks, were not being considered. At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Fisheries (AP) are unable to state whether the applications

of respondent Nos.8 to 10 for grant of permission for carrying on aquaculture have been pending or disposed of. In the absence of this information, this Court can only direct the official respondents to consider the objections of the petitioner. The official respondents are accordingly directed to consider the objections of the petitioners against conversion of lands for aquaculture by respondent Nos.8 to 10, if their applications are still pending and not yet disposed of. In case the applications of respondent Nos.8 an 10 have already been disposed of and the petitioner feels aggrieved thereby, she will be free to avail the appropriate remedy according to law.

Subject to the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P. No.18053 of 2012 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
