THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.34247 OF 2015 ORDER:- This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action on the part of respondent No.2 in not considering the application, dated 21.04.2015, of the petitioners to depute an Inspection Committee to inspect petitioner No.2 College and submit a report for grant of temporary approval to the petitioner college for the academic year 2016-17 as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, to issue a direction to respondent No.2 to (i) depute an Inspection Committee to inspect the petitioner college and submit a report forthwith and (ii) repatriate all the Teaching and Non-Teaching staff to petitioner No.2 college. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that during the pendency of the present writ petition, the State Government has taken over the management of the petitioner College and challenging the same, the petitioners filed W.P.No.29072 of 2017 and this Court, vide order, dated 30.08.2017, granted status quo and in view of the same, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication and no further orders are required to be passed.

Recording the said submission, Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is given to the petitioners to pursue the remedies available to them under law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
