THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K.LAKSHMAN CRIMINAL PETITION No.5836 of 2019 ORDER:

Learned Public Prosecutor has placed on record letter dated 15.04.2021 stating that the investigation is completed in this matter and charge sheet has been filed and the same was taken on file vide CC No.158 of 2020, and submitted that in view of the same, the subject matter in this criminal petition has become infructuous. The said letter is made as part of the record.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is given to the petitioners to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
