THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 20268 of 2019 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, petitioner's grievance is inaction on the part of the second respondent - Joint Collector, Peddapalli District, in disposing of her revision petition filed under Section 9 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, on 23.05.2017.

Learned Government Pleader asserts that the petitioner has failed to mention the number assigned to her revision petition. On that simple ground, it is not necessary for this Court to keep the matter pending having regard to the nature of relief, which the petitioner is seeking, as it is asserted by her on oath that she filed a revision petition before the second respondent on 23.05.2017 and the same is kept pending, and there would be no reason for her to approach this Court if the revision petition has not been filed.

In those circumstances, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner on 23.05.2017 in accordance with law, expeditiously, at any rate,

CKR, J W.P.No.20268 of 2019 within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
