THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO. 20040 of 2017 ORDER :

Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos. 2 and 3 in interfering with the civil dispute, insisting the petitioner to withdraw O.S.No.13 of 2015 on the file of Senior Civil Judge, Vijayawada, Krishna District, forcing him to compromise the same with the unofficial respondent and also preventing him from attending to his duties, as illegal and arbitrary. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent police are interfering with the civil dispute which is pending between the petitioner and the unofficial respondent. The same is denied by the learned Government Pleader for Home.

Having regard to the above and without going into merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent police not to interfere with the civil disputes which are pending between the parties, except in accordance with law. If the respondent police intend to take any action against the parties, the same shall be in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
