The issue raised in this writ petition, while impugning a letter dated 19.07.2007 issued by the 1st respondent, is in regard to selection and appointment of the petitioner to the post of contract Junior Lineman in existing vacancies taking into consideration the past experience with all consequential benefits.

This writ petition was admitted on 19.11.2007 and no interim order was granted.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. The learned Standing Counsel for A.P.H.B is present. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
