This writ petition is filed praying to grant the following relief: "to issue a Writ, Order or Direction especially one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not regularizing the services of the petitioners from their initial date of appointments and awarding all consequential benefits including seniority as arbitrary, illegal, violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and contrary to orders dated 18.12.1996 in W.P.No.26956 of 1996 as confirmed vide orders dated 10.02.1998 in W.A.No.410/1997 and consequently direct the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners from their initial date of appointment i.e. from their initial date of appointment and award all consequential benefits including seniority...". 2.
When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for petitioners as well as learned standing counsel representing respondentCorporation submit that subject matter of the writ petition is covered by the decision of this Court in W.P.No.7528 of 2011 dated 07.02.2017. 3.
For the reasons alike, this writ petition is also allowed directing the respondents to comply with the erlier orders in Writ Petition No.26956 of 1996, as affirmed in W.A.No.410 of 1997 dated 10.02.1998 and to regulate the services of the petitioners from the initial date of their appointment.
