HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 2362 of 2004 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in reverting the petitioners from Grade-I to Grade-II by way of re-categorisation of their services vide proceedings dated 18.09.2002, as illegal and arbitrary. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation and, therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.
