HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.14295 of 2001 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction in the nature of writ of mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not paying the salaries to the petitioners from the month of February, 2001 as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Article 14, 16 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequentially to direct the respondents to pay salaries to the petitioners regularly along with arrears for the work extracted from them and continued to pay the salaries.

2. When the matter is listed yesterday, there was no representation, therefore, it is directed to be posted to this day under the caption 'for dismissal'. In spite of that, no interest is evinced in prosecuting the case.

3. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs.
