THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 20349 of 2019 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, petitioners' grievance is inaction of the fourth respondent - Tahsildar, Shameerpet Mandal, MedchalMalkajgiri District, in disposing of their application dated 03.08.2018 for mutation of their names in the revenue records with respect to the land admeasuring Acs.5.00 in Survey No.683/B situated at Deveryamjal Village, Shameerpet Mandal, Medchal-Malkajgiri District.

It is to be noted that there is no provision for making a representation/application under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, and the Rules made thereunder, particularly, for correction of entries in the revenue records, and in a Writ Petition, a challenge is required to be made with respect to the proceedings, under which, the alleged entries were made, that too, after approaching the appropriate authority seeking correction of such entries. In those circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners to take appropriate recourse in accordance with law.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
