HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION No.9782 of 2007 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed to declare the declaration dated 14.07.2006 issued by the 1st respondent under Section 6 of the Land Acquisition Act (for short 'the Act'), without conducting enquiry under Section 5-A of the Act, as illegal and arbitrary.

2. Today, when the matter is being taken up for hearing, Mrs. Nimmagadda Revathi, learned counsel representing Sri Satyanarayana Nimmagadda, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that the matter has become infructuous, in view of the fact that an award has been passed and the petitioners received compensation.
