Petitioner claims to be the owner and in possession of land to an extent of Ac.4.00 in Sy.No.438, an extent of Ac.0.63 in Sy.No.742/1 and Ac.1.68 cents in Sy.No.743, situated at Gargeyapuram Village Fields, Kurnool Mandal, Kurnool District. Petitioner claims to be cultivating the said lands and in possession and enjoyment of the same. Due to some personal problems, petitioner intend to dispose of the said properties owned by her and approached respondents 2 to 4 for registration. The respondents did not entertain the document for registration of the same and not even allowed to speak.

In other words, what is claimed by the petitioner is that the document was not even received by the Joint Sub-Registrars, Kurnool and Kallur (respondents 3 and 4). If that is so, petitioner has remedy of appeal under Section 72 of the Registration Act, 1908 to the District Registrar. As the petitioner is entitled to ventilate her grievance against not receiving the document by the Joint Sub-Registrars, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition.

Having regard to the fact that petitioner has remedy by way of appeal provided under Section 72 of the Registration Act, the writ petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to work out her remedies as available under the Registration Act, if so advised. There shall be no order as to costs.
