HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R. SUBHASH REDDY AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR CIVIL REVISION PETITION No.5132 OF 2015 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice R. Subhash Reddy) This revision petition, under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, is filed questioning the validity of the award, dated 06.08.2015, passed in Dispute No.94 of 2015 by the Deputy Registrar of Chits/Arbitrator, Visakhapatnam, under the provisions of the Chit Funds Act, 1982 (for short, 'the Act').

Against the award of the Registrar of Chits, there is a remedy of appeal under Section 70 of the Act to the Government. In view of such effective alternative remedy available to the petitioner under the Act, there is no reason to entertain this revision petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India.

Accordingly, the revision petition is dismissed granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the Government. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this revision petition, shall stand closed. No costs. ______________________ R. SUBHASH REDDY, J
