ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of respondents 1 and 2 in calling the petitioner to the Police Station even after filing charge sheet in C.C.No.15 of 2017 on the file of the II Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Nuzvid, and insisting for settlement with the 3rd respondent, as arbitrary and illegal.

A counter-affidavit is filed on behalf of the 2nd respondent, wherein it is stated as under:

"It is submitted that there is no other case pending against the petitioner herein with the Hanuman Junction Police Station, as of now. Even the 3rd respondent herein i.e., Maddala Krupavaram who is complainant in Crime No.246/2016 has also not approached the Police Station after completion of investigation in the said crime and also not lodged any other complaint against the petitioner herein as of now. Since the petitioner was already chargesheeted in the above two crimes, and no other case is pending against him with the Police Station, there is no need to the Hanuman Junction Police either to call the petitioner to the Police Station or insisting him to settle the matter with the 3rd respondent. The Hanuman Junction Police are not calling the petitioner to the Police Station and not insisting him to settle the matter with the 3rd respondent. As stated above, the 3rd respondent has not lodged any fresh complaint against the petitioner herein till today."

In view of the aforesaid averments in the counter-affidavit, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
