HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO W.P.No.17450 of 2018 ORDER:
The petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 1 & 2 in not renewing the affiliation for B.Sc. (MPCs) and B.A. (Computer Applications) to the petitioner college for the academic year 2018-2019 as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to accord affiliation to the petitioner college for the aforesaid courses.
2.
Notice served on the Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 & 2, but there is no representation. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner college made a request to the respondents 1 & 2 in March, 2018 to accord affiliation in all five courses by paying affiliation fee to the University, however, on 06.05.2018 the respondents made an online advertisement that affiliation was given only to three courses by omitting B.Sc. (MPCs) and B.A (Computer Applications). Thereupon, the petitioner college made a request through its letter dated 07.05.2018 to the Vice Chancellor, Kakatiya University, Warangal, to accord affiliation to the remaining two courses also and so far he has not received any communication from the respondents and thus, prayed for a direction to the respondents.
W.P.No.17450 of 2018 UDPR, J 4.
In these circumstances, the respondents 1 & 2 are directed to consider the application of petitioner dated 07.05.2018 and pass an order within one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
