HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.20397 OF 2019 ORDER:
The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the inaction of the respondents 1 to 4 in registering the case pursuant to the complaint dated 17.04.2019 against the unofficial respondents 5 to 7 herein, as being illegal and arbitrary.
Heard Sri Vijay Kumar Panuganti, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the official respondents 1 to 4 and Sri E. Madhan Mohan Rao, learned counsel appearing for the unofficial respondents 5 to 7.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on the written instructions dated 19.09.2019, a copy of which is placed on record of this Court, would submit that the complaint dated 17.04.2019 which the petitioner had stated to have sent to the 2nd respondent, who is the Commissioner of Police through registered post has not been received by the 4th respondent. However, the complainant herein had approached the 4th respondent on 18.09.2019 and gave a complaint whereupon the 4th respondent registered a case in Crime No.285 of 2019 under Section 420 IPC of Bhongir
Rural police station on 18.09.2019 and took up investigation in the matter.
Inasmuch as the grievance of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition relates to inaction of the respondents 2 to 4 for acting on the complaint dated 17.04.2019, stands redressed, in view of the subsequent events as noted hereinabove, no further orders are required to be passed and accordingly this Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
