HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 2109 OF 2017 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel appearing for petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for respondents.
This Writ Petition was filed by the wife of the accused in Crime No. 1/2017, challenging the action of the second respondent in not conducting the investigation pursuant to the registration of the Crime. Now the second respondent filed a counter affidavit stating that after registration of the crime, investigation was taken up. During the course of investigation, the investigating officer requisitioned the Clues Team, Guntur and conducted scene of offence panchanama and deputed staff for causing enquires in the Village to find out the culprits responsible for the occurrence of the offence. The material objects were sent to the Assistant Director, Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Guntur for chemical analysis and report. It was revealed during the course of investigation that the husband of the petitioner is a history sheeter and he is said to be involved in about six crimes of various police stations at various places and so far statements of four witnesses were recorded and investigation is in progress.
In view of the above statement, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to complete the investigation, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and take further action in accordance with
