AMARNATH GOUD WRIT PETITION No.26432 of 2017 ORDER: (Oral) (Per Suresh Kumar Kait, J) The present petition is filed with the prayer which reads as under: "...pleased to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, direct the respondents herein to produce Mr. Thavva Srinivas Rao S/o. Pullaiah, aged about 46 years, R/o. Main Road, Mellacheruvu village and Mandal, Suryapet District before this Honourable Court and set him at liberty..."

In the counter-affidavit filed by the 6th respondent, it is stated that a case in FIR No.102 of 2017 dated 13.03.2017 has been registered against the alleged detenue on the file of P.S., Mellachervu, Suryapet District, for the offences under Sections 406 and 420 IPC, he was arrested on 10.08.2017, produced before the concerned Court and was remanded to judicial custody.

Keeping in view the counter-affidavit filed by the 6th respondent, we are not inclined to pass any further order in the present petition and the same is accordingly closed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in the petition, stand closed.
