THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K. SURENDER CRIMINAL PETITION No.7111 OF 2020 ALONG WITH I.A.NOs.1 AND 2 OF 2020 COMMON ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioners in C.C.No.1273 of 2017 on the file of II Additional Junior Civil Judgecum-X Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally.
The petitioners herein are accused Nos.1 to 4 in the said calendar case. The offences alleged against them are under Sections 498-A of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, and Sri M.V.Hanumantha Rao, learned counsel for respondent No.2 and, learned Addl.Public Prosecutor for the State. Perused the record. 3.
During the pendency of the present Criminal Petition, the parties have compromised the matter and, accordingly, respondent No.2 filed I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2020 to permit to compound the offences and to compromise the case.

The petitioners/A2 to A4 and respondent No.2/defacto complainant are present in person and they are identified by their respective counsel. As Accused No.1 is residing abroad, he executed Special Power of Attorney appointing his brother G.Raghu Kumar (2nd petitioner) as his agent to act on his behalf and the same is filed
and placed on record. Both the parties filed Xerox copies of their Aadhar Cards in proof of their identity and the same are placed on record.

Along with I.A.No.2 of 2020, a Joint Compromise Memo is filed by the parties containing the terms of compromise, signed by both the parties and their respective counsel.

The parties herein have filed Joint Compromise Memo stating they have settled the disputes between them amicably and 2nd respondent has no objection to quash the proceedings against the petitioners herein in the above crime. The said joint memo of compromise is placed on record.

In view of the compromise entered between the petitioners/A1 to A4 and respondent No.2, I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2020 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.1273/2017 on the file of II Additional Junior Civil Judgecum-X Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally, Hyderabad, are hereby quashed against the petitioners/A1 to A4. As a sequel, the miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
