The petitioner filed this writ petition seeking to declare the action of the respondents in issuing posting orders with same scale of pay to some Junior Most PGTs as 'Adhoc Principals under 50% direct recruitment quota, without conducting any counseling process before finalizing the postings of senior most PGTs as 'principals' through counseling process, as illegal and arbitrary, and to direct the respondents to issue all posting orders through counseling by setting aside the proceedings dated 23.7.2002 issued by the 1st respondent. 2.

When this matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner.

It is noticed that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation. At this stage, the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
